Church Camp 2011 is now behind us. Even though the weather was very hot, everyone had a wonderful time. On June 13, 136 children, youth and adult sponsors showed up at Spring Lake Baptist Camp for a terrific week of Bible study, music, preaching and fun.
There were six recorded salvations and four recorded rededications. Praise God!
Special thanks to the camp pastors-Stacy Reed for the children and Rushing Mayes for the youth and to the music leaders-Ashley Mayes for the children and Adam Jones for the youth. A big thanks to Jeanette Dunn for being our camp nurse. Jeanette is always so willing to be the nurse and does a wonderful job! All of the adult sponsors did a great job and were always willing to do whatever they were asked.

The Beverly Laws Memorial Award was presented to Nick Whitley from Holly Springs and the Melba Jackson Memorial Award was presented to Meghan Sisson from Fordyce First. All of these honor campers will receive free camp fees for 2012.
There were many highlights to the week including a visit from Miss Arkansas Alyse Eady. Alyse shared her testimony and performed her ventriloquist act.
Be in prayer for the camp committee as they begin planning for CAMP 2012. Camp will be June 18-22, 2012.
